| Actions to avoid on the golf course
To become a good golfer, it is not enough to have a good putting stroke. You also need to display proper etiquettes and stay away from committing the following mistakes:
- Act in a hurry and putt ahead of your turn.
- Take position on the greens in such a way that a shadow is cast on another player’s line.
- Make unnecessary noises or abrupt movements while other golfers are putting.
- Step on the golf course in a manner that obstructs another player’s line. It is also a bad manner to move on those areas of the green where the ball of other golfers is likely to travel.
- Lay the flag down at a location where the golf ball may strike it, especially when a ball moves past the hole.
Remember that by staying away from the abovementioned list of bad etiquettes, you can let others play the game peacefully and enjoy it for yourself too.
