No matter which club you use if you have a proper back swing the differences in clubs will not matter. It is important to perform you back swing as one movement that is completely controlled. You need to be aware of your body and what you are doing. When standing you should be bent forward at the hips and have your knees evenly bent. You should reach forward from your shoulders.
The key to having a good golf swing is to make it feel comfortable. When first starting you may feel awkward, try to go from a golfers resting position that is comfortable to a starting swing position that is comfortable. The motion used to reach that position should be comfortable. Then keep practicing until it becomes second nature to you.
