Arrangements for societies: Societies are given a warm welcome if the arrangements are made in advance
It is located just off Pen Y Cefn which leads up from the main road near the opposite side of bridge from Dolgellau.
The Dolgellau Golf Club has three well designed holes in the lap of peaceful environment and the rest six with a background of spectacular, panoramic views of Cader Idris and Mawddach estuary. There are only fifty lady members and about 125 gentlemen on the handicap lists maintained by the competitions and handicaps secretary. The membership period begins in the month of October and for new memberships the club owner Richard Stockdale should be contacted.
The Dolgellau Golf Club also permits entry of guide dogs for disabled. The club has appointed Mr Arwel Thomas for giving golf lessons to people of all age groups. After an interval of two years all the bunkers of Dolgellau Golf Club are in play and playable.
